Follow-Up ActivitiesThe Center organizes follow-up activities to integrate its publications into policy and public outreach from the local to global level. Included are Town Hall Meetings, media and policy briefings, grassroots workshops, and more (see Activities). Building New Population-Environment LeadershipUnder this program, CEP establishes opportunities for new, young leaders on the issues through a wide range of activities including internships, fellowships, lecture series, school and young activists' workshops, and other means. The Center partners with leading universities and colleges across the U.S. to do seminars and host internships. CEP is also launching the Population-Environment Fellowship Award. Graduate students will be invited to apply for the Fellowships, for which they will receive a stipend and credit towards their Masters or Doctorate degrees. The Fellow(s) will produce papers and participate in activities centered on the U.S.'s role within the global context relating to population's environmental impacts.
